  • Authentication Credentials: We store encrypted access tokens required to maintain a secure connection between Instagram and our platform.

  • Data Synchronization: Automating the transfer of your Instagram metrics to your designated Google BigQuery dataset.
  • Reporting: Allowing you to visualize and analyze your social media performance in tools like Looker Studio.
  • System Maintenance: Ensuring the technical stability and security of the data pipeline. Note: We do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Third-Party Data Transfer (Google Cloud)

By using this application, you authorize the transfer of the collected metrics to Google BigQuery. The data resides within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, which complies with global security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2/3, and GDPR).   1. Data Retention and Security We implement strict security measures to protect your information:
  • Encryption: Sensitive API keys and secrets are managed via server-side environment variables and never stored in plain text.
  • Retention: We only store the metadata and tokens necessary to keep the service active. Raw analytical data is stored in your BigQuery instance under your control.

6. User Rights and Data Deletion

In compliance with Meta’s Platform Terms, you have the following rights:

  • Revocation: You may disconnect your Instagram account and revoke API access at any time via your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
  • Deletion: To request the permanent deletion of your account metadata and tokens from our database, please email jair@cooltimedia.com. We will fulfill your request within 30 days.
